Rakul Preet Singh is the new star on the horizon. She has taken the big leap with Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee which is set for a mammoth release next week. On this occasion, we caught up with her for a detailed interview. Let’s see what she has to say.

Q) How important is Bruce Lee for your career ?

I feel that I have entered the big league with this film and the success of Bruce Lee will be a huge turning point in my career.

Q) What are your memorable moments shooting for this film ?

Bruce Lee was a life time experience. I got to work with a star hero like Charan and also shared screen space with the legendary megastar Chiranjeevi.

Q) How was the whole experience working with Chiranjeevi ?

It’s a memorable experience. I cannot forget the day when Chiranjeevi sir was on sets. He was on time with make up and arrived before all of us. I learned a lot from him and cannot forget the compliments he showered on me.

Q) Can you elaborate what he said ?

After watching the Le Chalo song, Chiru sir said that I looked gorgeous and he liked the confidence in my performance. His compliments were like a dream and I did not want to come out of it.

Q) How was it working with Charan ?

Even though he comes from such a big family, he is very grounded and jovial. He dances like a dream and I found it very hard to match steps with him. Our chemistry looks rocking and will impress everyone.

Q) Tell us about your character in the film ?

I play a video game developer called Riya and did a lot of comedy through my character. A lot of hard work went into styling my look and credit should be given to Sreenu Vaitla for showcasing me in such a glamorous way.

Q) How does it feel to be the number one actress in Tollywood ?

I don’t believe in the number game and am doing films which are coming my way. A lot of hard work is involved and I am blessed to do some big budgets flicks in such an early age of my career.

Q) You are very tall. Is your height becoming a problem with the heroes ?

No ! not at all. Everyone is quite confident about their personalities and how we are presented on screen is more important.

Q) How was the experience of meeting Shahrukh Khan on sets ?

That was a huge surprise for all us. We were canning a song and suddenly everyone left the sets and started running out. Later, we found out that SRK had dropped by. We had a detailed conversation with him and SRK also saw some of the portions of the song being shot.

Q) Do you feel sad about missing out on Mahesh’s film ?

Obviously ! I feel disappointed but there is a bright future ahead and if things work out, we will surely do a film together.

Q) Reports reveal that you have hiked you remuneration drastically ?

I feel that I am getting popular with every film and there is nothing wrong in hiking your fees when you are in demand.

Q) What are your future projects ?

As of now, I have NTR’s Nannaku Prematho and Allu Arjun’s Sarainodu.

Q) Finally, sum up Bruce Lee for us ?

Bruce Lee is an action entertainer with trademark Sreenu Vaitla aspects. Charan will be the highlight of the film along with the brother sister sentiment.
