Interview : Srinivas Avasarla- Interesting narration is the highlight of Jyo Achyutananda

Srinivasa Avasarla is one director who has impressed one and all. After a brief gap, he is now back with his latest film Jyo Achyutananda. On this occasion, we caught up with him for a detailed interview. Here is the transcript.

Why did you take a long gap after Oohalu Gusagusalade ?

The gap was intentional. Oohalu Gusagusalade was a simple film with basic emotions and everyone connected to it big time. I did not want my second film to be as simple as that and took some time and came up with this project.

What is Jyo Achyutananda all about ?

It is once again a cool love story in my style. The film revolves around two brothers who fall in love with the same girl. The fun generated and feel good narrative will be liked by everyone.

Don’t you think the twist in the film has been revealed in the trailers itself ?

Yes ! but the way the film has been narrated from there and how the proceedings unfold during the past is the entire film about.

How was it working with all the three stars ?

I had a lovely time working with all of them. Each one of them has a lovely role and have done a superb job with their performances.

Your working experience with Varahi banner ?

I had a lovely time working with Vaarahi. The production house is quite friendly and everyone who works with them has a homely feel. Very soon, I will do yet another project in their banner.

How are you managing both acting and direction ?

I am very clear about these two. Whenever I start my film, I do not take up any acting projects until the film is wrapped up. Now since I am done with Jyo Achyutananda, I will go back to acting.

Is Nani doing a cameo in Jyo Achyutananda ?

Yes ! he is doing a cameo in the film. You need to watch the film to find out what it is all about.

Your future projects ?

I am doing the remake of Hindi film Hunterr. Post that film, I have a film committed with both Nani and Varahi banner.
