The multiple postponements of Venkatesh and Trivikram’s Aadarsha Kutumbam have not only irritated fans but also hurt other filmmakers, as Trivikram’s directorial is affecting their release plans.
Today, producer Naga Vamsi held a press meet for Jailer 2 to celebrate the film’s good run in the Telugu states. During the interaction, Naga Vamsi confirmed that the family thriller would hit the big screens on October 30 without directly announcing the date.
During the previous press meet held to announce the film’s postponement, certain journalists asked if the film would arrive on October 30, but Naga Vamsi held back from giving the confirmation. Today, he said, “Last time our journalists mentioned one date (October 30). The movie is arriving on that date only. I don’t want to announce it myself after all the fuss.”
Victory Venkatesh, who is currently in Ooty shooting for January 12 Vidudala, will make the formal announcement in a few days. Plans are also underway to launch the theatrical trailer simultaneously.
