Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up for his next release, Ranabaali, which is set to hit theatres on October 16. The film comes after Kingdom, which failed to make a mark at the box office despite opening with around Rs. 11.5 crore on its first day.

Interestingly, Kingdom managed this opening with good buzz and decent bookings. Now, all eyes are on whether Ranabaali can deliver a better start at the ticket windows as the buzz is a bit low.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and marks the third collaboration between the popular pair.

With pre-release buzz remaining a concern, the opening-day numbers will be crucial. Strong word of mouth could help the film gain momentum over the weekend.
