Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya have reunited for the romantic comedy Epic: First Semester, directed by Aditya Hasan, who is best known for the popular 90’s web series. The film has been carrying a decent buzz ever since its promotional content was released.
According to industry reports, EPIC: First Semester is expected to release in theatres on September 11, 2026. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement.
Interestingly, the date was initially expected to be occupied by Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali. Since the film’s shoot is still underway and the release has been pushed, Epic is likely to take that release slot.
The film also stars Shivaji and Vasuki Anand in key roles. It is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
