Sensational director Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to make his debut as a lead actor with the action drama DC. The film stars Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead and is directed by Arun Matheswaran.

More than the teaser or trailer, it is Anirudh who is single-handedly keeping the film in the spotlight with his fantastic music. Many believe the composer has delivered one of his finest albums for DC. Several themes from the soundtrack are going viral on social media, accompanied by fan edits.

Will Anirudh’s heavy lifting help the film secure a strong opening? We’ll have to wait and see. Sun Pictures bankrolled DC, while Arun Ranjan has provided the additional screenplay. The film releases on August 7 in Tamil and Telugu.
