Earlier today, the makers of Tamil star Vijay’s upcoming sports drama, Bigil, unveiled a big surprised. For the first time, Vijay will be crooning a song composed by the film’s music composer, AR Rahman. The song is titled ‘Verithanam’ and it is penned by young lyricist Vivekh.
Ever since the news about Vijay singing in AR Rahman’s composition was out, fans of both the Oscar-winning music director and Thalapathy Vijay have been excitedly waiting for Verithanam’s official release. The song has been recorded at Rahman’s studio in Chennai recently.
In Bigil, Vijay will be seen in dual roles, a gangster father and a footballer son. Nayanthara is the film’s leading lady. This Atlee directorial is being produced under AGS Cinemas banner. The film is slated to hit screens for Diwali.
