Actress Ashika Ranganath is set to share the screen with Karthi in Sardar 2, the upcoming Tamil action drama directed by PS Mithran. Ahead of the film’s release, the actress has offered a glimpse into her character, Faiza, while keeping the finer details under wraps.
Describing Faiza, Ashika called her a young, fierce and carefree Gen Z girl, adding that the character represents a section of today’s younger generation. However, she refrained from revealing more about Faiza’s role in the narrative, as doing so could give away key details from the story.
Ashika noted that the teaser and trailer have intentionally revealed very little about her character or her connection to the film’s narrative. Calling Faiza an exciting role, the actress said she thoroughly enjoyed exploring the character.
Sardar 2 also stars Malavika Mohanan and SJ Suryah, and is slated to release in theatres on September 10, 2026, in multiple languages, including Telugu.
