Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla has emerged as the third hit for Bollywood in 2026 after Border 2 and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The horror comedy entertainer, directed by Priyadarshan, found acceptance among the public.
Despite new releases like Raja Shivaji and Ek Din entering the marketplace, Bhooth Bangla is continuing its strong run at the ticket windows. So far, the film has collected Rs. 232.80 crores globally, emerging as a profitable venture for all the stakeholders. Total India nett has crossed Rs. 142 crores nett, and the film aims to reach Rs. 160 crores in its lifetime.
Wamiqa Gabbi played the female lead. The film also features Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, Mithila Palkar, Rajesh Sharma, and Manoj Joshi in vital roles. Bhooth Bangla is jointly bankrolled by Akshay Kumar, Ektaa Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor.
