Breaking: Amid controversies, Nayanthara’s Annapoorani removed from Netflix

Lady Superstar Nayanthara’s 75th movie, Annapoorani, encountered challenges upon its Netflix release last month. Recently, Ramesh Solanki, a former Shiva Sena leader, criticized it as Anti-Hindu, leading to an FIR against the makers.

A couple of days ago, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Shriraj Nair also condemned the film for derogatory comments on Lord Rama, labeling him a meat eater. He warned Zee Studios, the banner behind the movie, demanding immediate removal of the film from Netflix. In response, Zee Studios apologized to VHP and removed the title from Netflix.

Now, Nayanthara’s fans wonder if Netflix will introduce a new version of Annapoorani or not. The answers lie with the makers. Stay tuned to our website for further updates on the dynamic world of OTT.

We are happy that @ZeeStudios_ have realised their mistake and pls note we have never ever interfered in the creative freedom of any film but Hindu Bashing and mocking will never be tolerated..@ARanganathan72 @AshwiniUpadhyay @Sunil_Deodhar @RatanSharda55 pic.twitter.com/nC9AXpaNyu
