Chiranjeevi voices support for Bharat Ratna for NT Ramarao demand

Megastar Chiranjeevi is back in Hyderabad after receiving the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award from the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, in New Delhi. The veteran actor dedicated his Padma award to all his fans and well-wishers.

In a media interaction upon his return from New Delhi, Chiranjeevi revealed his long-cherished wish. He voiced his support for the demand of Bharat Ratna to the legendary Telugu actor and former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. “Just like many Telugu people, I have been waiting for the Bharat Ratna award to NT Ramarao too. It’s been a long-cherished wish,” the Megastar said.

For the past couple of decades, several prominent celebrities from the Telugu film and political worlds have been demanding the union governments to honor NT Ramarao with Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award. However, it’s been a never-ending wait.
