South Indian star actor Chiyaan Vikram, known for his versatility and acclaimed performances, has recently clarified allegations made by Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap.
In a recent interview, Kashyap claimed that he had tried to reach out to Vikram for a role in his latest film Kennedy (premiered at Cannes Film Festival) but had received no response from the actor.
However, Vikram took to Twitter to explain the situation and set the record straight. He wrote, “Dear Anurag Kashyap, just revisiting our conversation from over a year ago for the sake of our friends and well-wishers on social media. When I heard from another actor that you had tried to reach me for this film & that you felt I hadn’t responded to you, I called you myself immediately and explained that I hadn’t gotten any mail or message from you as the email ID that you had contacted me on was no longer active and my number had changed almost 2 years before that.”
Vikram went on to express his excitement for Kashyap’s film and wished the director well, signing off with “Lots of love, Chiyaan Vikram aka Kennedy.”
The actor’s polite and respectful response to the controversy won the hearts of netizens, who praised him for his professionalism. Keep checking this space for more latest and exciting updates.
