OG actor Arjun Das recently headlined Con City, a crime comedy directed by debutant Harish Durairaj. The film hit Tamil theatres on June 26, 2026. Interestingly, Con City was initially announced for a simultaneous Telugu theatrical release. However, the makers later dropped those plans.
Now, Telugu audiences finally get a chance to watch the film as Netflix has confirmed its OTT premiere on July 24, 2026. The movie will stream in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The film follows a struggling middle class family whose lives take a bizarre turn when a mysterious incident leads to a receipt printer churning out genuine Rs. 500 notes, setting off a chaotic chain of events.
Con City opened to mixed reviews during its theatrical run, and it remains to be seen how the film fares with OTT audiences. The film also stars Anna Ben, Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, Radha Ravi, Thambi Ramaiah, and VTV Ganesh in key roles. Sean Roldan composed the music, while Power House Pictures, Klout Studios, and M&M Movie Makers jointly produced the film.
