DC is the upcoming gangster action drama that marks sensational director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut as a lead actor. The film is directed by Arun Matheswaran, who previously helmed Captain Miller. Bollywood beauty Wamiqa Gabbi plays the female lead.
The makers have now announced that DC will hit the big screens on July 31. A new poster featuring the key characters was unveiled along with the release date announcement. The theatrical trailer, which was released earlier, promised a full-on action entertainer packed with raw violence set in a gritty world.
The story will largely revolve around Devadas and Chandra, which explains the title, DC. The movie is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, while Arun Ranjan has provided the additional screenplay.
