One of Tollywood’s finest character actors, Brahmaji, is widely admired for his versatility and ability to excel in a wide range of roles. Back in 2020, he announced an intriguing mystery thriller titled Hangman, and after years of anticipation, the film is finally ready for its release.
Interestingly, instead of opting for a theatrical run, the makers have chosen to premiere it directly on OTT. Hangman will begin streaming on Sun NXT from July 3, 2026. The promotional campaign has built curiosity with the intriguing tagline, “Justice has a price. Truth has a deadline,” while repeatedly posing the question: Will the hangman uncover the hidden truth or bury it forever?
The film promises a gripping mystery thriller, with Brahmaji appearing in a striking aged look that has already caught viewers’ attention. Before its digital debut, Hangman received critical acclaim after premiering at the 2nd Eikhoigi Imphal International Film Festival.
The cast also includes Bunny Abiran and Vinay Nallakadi in pivotal roles. Directed by Vihaan, the film features an atmospheric background score by Kamran and is jointly produced by Chlorofylm Pictures and Dark Horse Visuals.
