After unveiling the amazing first glimpse of NTR starrer Dragon, director Prashanth Neel interacted with Galatta Plus to share his thoughts about the full-blown action entertainer. He explained what made reveal the entire story in the glimpse itself.
Neel said, “For my previous films, I have put out content celebrating the hero without putting the content. This time we have made a conscious effort of telling the plot. I wanted everyone to know the story that we were telling and also celebrate the hero. NTR said it was a good idea to introduce everything together at the same time. Today, the audience is ready to know the story before coming to theatres. It is a very old tradition to hide the stories.”
He added, “Now if I tell you a story, everybody wants to know how it happened. Hollywood does this all the time. They give you entire story with a few scenes. I want to entice the audience for the story. Not just the visibility of a very grand movie that we are making. I want to convey we have a good story. This film has many layers to it and I don’t want to cut a trailer with 9 minutes. I am revealing the ground where we are playing and the pitch conditions. The next time I will tell the drama.”
