Oh..! Sukumari starring Thiru Veer and Aishwarya Rajesh is set for release on July 17. Written and directed by debutant Bharat Dharshan, the film is produced by Maheswara Reddy Mooli under the Gangaa Entertainments banner, following Shivam Bhaje. Today, Hit Machine Anil Ravipudi unveiled the film’s theatrical trailer.
Going by it, the movie promises a wholesome entertainer packed with romance, comedy, and rustic charm.
The trailer introduces Damini, a mischievous young woman feared by her entire village for one bizarre reason- anyone who touches her receives an electric shock.
The heroine’s family hides this unusual secret and gets her married to the hero, who has no clue about it. After the wedding, he is left shocked as he faces one unexpected situation after another. How the couple deals with this strange challenge and gradually develops love and understanding is what the story is about.
Director Bharat Dharshan brings this unique concept to the screen in an entertaining manner, balancing humor with emotions. Thiru Veer impresses as a carefree village youngster, while Aishwarya Rajesh delivers a strong performance in a role that is equally important. Muralidhar Goud, Vishnu Oi (MAD fame), Jhansi, Amani, and Anandhkota Jayaram provide good support and add to the film’s fun moments.
CH Kushendar’s cinematography captures the village setting neatly, and Bharath Manchiraju’s music complements the film’s light-hearted mood. The technical team also includes production designer Thirumala M. Thirupathi (Balagam fame), editor Sree Varaprasad, costume designer Anu Reddy Akkati, and lyricist Purnachary.
