The box office sensation Hanuman Ansh was announced to release in Telugu on September 18, 2026. The Telugu version became more interesting with renowned filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas coming on board as the presenter.
However, the release is now facing uncertainty. The Telugu teaser launch event, which was scheduled in Hyderabad on September 15, did not take place, and the teaser was also not released as planned.
Adding to the situation, reports suggest that Trivikram has stepped away from presenting the Telugu version after the deal with the team apparently fell through. However, neither Trivikram nor the makers have officially confirmed this development. There is also no official announcement regarding a change in the September 18 release date yet.
Meanwhile, Hanuman Ansh has emerged as a surprise success at the box office, crossing Rs 200 crore nett in India and also earning from overseas markets. The film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa as Lakshman Narayan, who later becomes Neem Karoli Baba, and is written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi.
