In a recent interview director Harish Shankar said that he prefers his protagonists to be energetic all the time and added that he makes films based on the hero’s characterisation. Harish revealed that he will always include the minute details in the script about how his heroes should behave.
Harish Shankar said, “I will first pen the story and hero’s characterisation. Then I will do the casting. I don’t like if heroes are controlled by someone or if they behave in a dull manner. My heroes are livewire entertainers. I believe an actor’s performance can elevate a scene to the another level.”
Harish added, “If my scene is 25%, actor should add another 60% with his performance and the other technical aspects will make the scene reach 100%.” Currently Harish Shankar is working on Mr. Bachchan which stars Ravi Teja in the lead role. It is the Telugu remake of Hindi film Raid.
