Kalki 2898 AD is an upcoming pan-Indian mythological sci-fi drama directed by Nag Ashwin, featuring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The highly anticipated film is set for a worldwide release on June 27, 2024.
Recently, rumours circulated about the makers planning to release an animated prelude on Netflix. This speculation gained traction just before the introduction of the character Bujji, voiced by Keerthy Suresh.
Now, an image circulating online has confirmed that the animated prelude will indeed be released. Although the exact release date is yet to be announced, it’s expected to drop in the first or second week of next month. More details will be revealed soon.
In addition to Deepika Padukone, the film also stars Disha Patani in a prominent role. The cast includes legendary actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Rajendra Prasad, and Pasupathy.
