Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan started on a historic note at the worldwide box office. The action drama is helmed by Atlee and has Lady Superstar Nayanthara as the female lead. Vijay Sethupathi played the antagonist, while Deepika Padukone played a cameo.
Interestingly, the Telugu and Tamil versions of Jawan feature comedian Yogi Babu in a few scenes, while the actor is not present in the original version. Keeping the Southern audiences in mind, the makers seem to have come up with this interesting strategy. The openings in Telugu and Tamil are phenomenal as well.
Gauri Khan, under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, produced this mega-budget flick, which has the tunes of Anirudh Ravichander. Will King Khan score another industry hit this year with Jawan? Let’s wait and watch.
