The Traitors was a huge success in Hindi, and now the Telugu version is gearing up for its premiere on Prime Video on October 14.
Hosted by Teja Sajja, the reality show features popular names like Chinmayi, Anchor Nikhil, Pragati, and several other celebrities.
Ever since the promos were released, many viewers have started comparing the show with Bigg Boss Telugu. While the formats are different, both shows revolve around strategy, mind games, betrayal, and unexpected twists.
The timing of the launch is also interesting. Bigg Boss Telugu has been facing criticism from a section of viewers who feel the show has become predictable and lost some of its earlier excitement.
This has opened the door for a fresh reality show to grab attention. That is where The Traitors Telugu could have an advantage with the audience.
While it may be too early to call it a direct replacement, many are already viewing The Traitors Telugu as the biggest reality-show challenger to Bigg Boss Telugu in recent years.
