After creating a sensation of sorts with HanuMan, director Prasanth Varma is currently lining up a series of ambitious projects. He has already begun working on Jai Hanuman, the sequel to HanuMan. Rishab Shetty is headlining it.

Now, reports suggest that Rana Daggubati has been roped in to portray the pivotal character of Ashwatthama in this much-anticipated film. Industry buzz also indicates that the role has immense scope that can match Rana’s calibre.

If true, the presence of Rana Daggubati will take the film to the next level. Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series are jointly producing the film on a massive scale. The release plans are yet to be announced.
