We had earlier revealed that Jana Nayagan, featuring Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, completed its censor formalities with an A certificate. The makers have now unveiled a new poster featuring Vijay along with the censor details.
The brand-new poster carries the line, “The Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu C. Joseph City,” which is instantly giving goosebumps to fans. However, the production house is yet to announce the release date, and the delay is leaving fans confused.
The film’s earlier deal with Amazon Prime Video has been cancelled, as the platform became impatient with the release delays. The new tentative release date is July 24, subject to the finalisation of a new OTT deal.
Produced by KVN Productions, Vijay’s farewell film is directed by H. Vinoth. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead, while Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, and others essay key roles. Anirudh is the music composer.
