Actor turned politician Kamal Haasan urged students to take active interest and get involved in politics at an early stage. The actor made these statements while he was addressing the students at an engineering college in Coimbatore.
Kamal made it quite clear that despite all the support he received from his friends and others, he got into politics quite late in his life. “The biggest obstacle in my journey was me. Everyone was ready to help me, and inspite of it, if my progress was slow, it was because of me. The current set of politicians, including me, can only make things better, but the younger generation can really change things. I urge students to get involved in politics and become more aware of what’s happening in the political arena because your future depends on it,” he said.
He also added that he is keen to interact with students and youngsters as much as possible in the coming days. “No one can stop me from meeting all of you,” Kamal Haasan said.
