Following the disappointing performance of Vaa Vaathiyaar in theatres and on OTT, Karthi is gearing up for a comeback with Sardar 2.

The much-awaited spy thriller has officially locked September 10, 2026, as its worldwide release date and will arrive in multiple languages, including Tamil and Telugu.

Directed by PS Mithran, the sequel stars Malavika Mohanan and Ashika Ranganath as the female leads, alongside Rajisha Vijayan, Yogi Babu, and SJ Sariah in key roles. Produced by S Lakshman Kumar’s Prince Pictures and Ishan Saksena’s IVY Entertainment, the film features music by GV Prakash Kumar.

With the release date now confirmed, fans can expect promotional activities and more updates to roll out in the coming weeks.
