Leader, the spy action thriller starring Legend Saravanan, is once again in the spotlight due to rumors about its OTT release. Directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar, the film was released in theatres on April 3, 2026. However, it failed to perform well at the box office and also faced criticism over reports of inflated collection figures.
Now, social media buzz suggests that the film may start streaming on May 29, 2026. According to ongoing rumours, Amazon Prime Video has reportedly bagged the digital rights and is planning to release the movie in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
It remains to be seen whether Leader can find a better response on OTT after its disappointing theatrical run. The film also stars Andrea Jeremiah, Payal Rajput, and Santhosh Prathap in key roles, with music composed by Ghibran.
