Sumanth’s spiritual mystery thriller Mahendragiri Varahi, directed by Santhossh Jagarlapudi, is set against the mystical backdrop of Mahendragiri, where the divine presence of Goddess Varahi forms the soul of the story.
Today, the makers launched the trailer, and it looks very interesting. The Varahi goddess curses the Mahendragiri dynasty, due to which the men in the family die at the age of 33. Sumanth enters the village to find out the answers. He argues that a goddess can’t be called a goddess if she is the reason behind the deaths.
The suspense factor and the basic premise of the film look pretty good, and the presence of Siddu Jonnalagadda in a cameo is the icing on the cake. The appearance of Aishwarya Rajesh as goddess makes things even more interesting.
All in all trailer succeeds in generating interest. The film is bankrolled by Kalipu Madhu and Laxman under the banners of Rajashyamala Entertainments and Bridge Films.
Mahendragiri Varahi features Aishwarya Rajesh, Minakshi Goswami, Malvika Nair, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Rajeev Kanakala, Ali, and several notable actors in significant roles. The movie releases on September 11.
