Telugu rural drama Maremma has found another streaming home. After its initial digital release on Aha and Prime Video in Telugu, the film starring Ravi Teja’s nephew Maadhav Bhupathiraju is now streaming on JioHotstar. This gives the small-scale film a wider digital push across platforms.
The new streaming release takes the film pan-India with dubbed audio options in multiple languages such as Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. It remains to be seen whether non-Telugu audiences connect with this rooted rural story. The wider language rollout marks an interesting move for a film of this size.
Directed by Manchala Nagaraj, the village drama is produced by Mayur Reddy Bandaru. Deepa Balu plays the female lead opposite Maadhav Bhupathiraju. The supporting cast includes Vikas Vasishta, Vinod Kumar, V. S. Rupa Lakshmi, and Dayanand Reddy.
