Ravi Teja’s nephew Maadhav Bhupathiraju’s Maremma has finally unveiled its trailer after creating curiosity with its teaser back in February. The Telugu village action drama takes a different route, blending rural superstition, divine belief and action around a mysterious disappearance that throws an entire community into turmoil.
The story unfolds in a crisis-hit village that seeks the protection of its guardian deity, Maremma Thalli. But when the sacred bull associated with the goddess mysteriously vanishes, panic grips the village. Blamed for the crisis, the young protagonist takes up the challenge of finding the missing animal – a journey that pulls him into violent confrontations, deep-rooted beliefs and local power struggles.
The trailer smartly keeps the central mystery under wraps while building intrigue around what happened to the bull and where the protagonist’s search will lead. The background score adds weight to the tension, giving the cut an effective finish.
Deepa Balu plays the female lead, with Vikas Vasishta, Vinod Kumar, VS Rupa Lakshmi and Dayanand Reddy in supporting roles. Produced by Mayur Reddy Bandaru and directed by Manchala Nagaraj, Maremma is set to arrive in theatres on September 10, 2026.
