Kannada cinema’s Premada Oorali is doing the unthinkable at the box office. The movie started its box-office journey with collections in lakhs, but the way it took off like a storm on the strength of solid word of mouth is one for the history books.

The emotional family drama has now achieved another massive milestone. Premada Oorali has become the biggest Sandalwood grosser in Karnataka for 2026, surpassing Yash’s high-budget action drama Toxic.

Undoubtedly, this is a great achievement for a film made on a budget of Rs. 2 crore. Directed by Manoj Kumar, the movie stars Ranganaya Raghu, Shree Raam, Thapaswini Poonacha, and Ramika Shivu in pivotal roles.
