May 31 is jam-packed with six Telugu films – Deets inside

Currently, the political fever is at an all-time high in Andhra Pradesh, with general elections scheduled on May 13. Due to this, filmmakers are reshuffling the release dates. As a result, May 31, 2024, is overcrowded with six Telugu films, which are Gangs of Godavari, Harom Hara, Satyabhama, Gam Gam Ganesha, Music Shop Murthy, and Bhaje Vaayu Vegam.

Out of these six movies, Gangs of Godavari, fronted by Vishwak Sen, has the maximum buzz. Till now, the rustic action drama has been postponed a couple of times. The movie should have arrived on May 17, but the movie team deferred the release to May 31. Krishna Chaitanya directed the film, and Naga Vamsi bankrolled it. Neha Sshetty and Anjali are the leading ladies.

Kajal Aggarwal, who once ruled the roost in Telugu cinema, is coming up with the film Satyabhama, which is slated for release on May 31. Directed by Akhil Degala, Kajal will be seen as a cop in this flick. Naveen Chandra essayed a vital role. Bobby Tikka and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly under the Aurum Arts banner.

Sudheer Babu’s next project is a PAN-Indian film titled Harom Hara, which is scheduled for release on May 31. Gnanasagar Dwaraka of Sehari fame is the director. Malvika Sharma is the female lead in this movie. Bankrolled by Sumanth G Naidu under the banner of Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas, the film has the tagline, The Revolt.

With Baby, actor Anand Deverakonda stole the hearts of the youth audience. His next film is a crime comedy titled Gam Gam Ganesha. Debutant Uday Bommisetty directed the film, which stars Pragati Srivastava as the heroine. Produced by Kedar Selagamsetty and Vamsi Karumanchi, it is coming to the big screens on May 31.

Young hero Kartikeya’s Bhaje Vaayu Vegam and Chandini Chowdhary’s Music Shop Murthy are also hitting the big screens on May 31. While the former is an intense action thriller, the latter is a fun entertainer. Prashanth Reddy is the director for Bhaje Vaayu Vegam, while Siva Paladugu wielded the megaphone for Music Shop Murthy. Let’s see how these films will fare at the ticket windows.
