Mollywood superstar Mohanlal has moved the court. The actor, who is next set to appear in Drishyam 3, scheduled for release on May 21, 2026, has approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personality and publicity rights.

According to recent reports, Mohanlal has filed a plea requesting protection against the unauthorized use of his name, image, voice, and likeness, particularly in AI-driven and commercial content.

He is not alone. Several actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Vivek Oberoi, and Jr NTR, have taken similar legal steps in recent years.

On the professional front, Mohanlal has a packed schedule, with his immediate focus on the release of Drishyam 3.
