Naga Vamsi never minced words when it comes to expressing his opinion. Last year, Naga Vamsi took everyone by surprise by calling Avatar 2 a marine biology documentary. When netizens mocked him, Naga Vamsi said that when people can criticize Rajamouli and Sukumar, one can also find fault with James Cameron.
In a recent interview, Naga Vamsi has given another bold statement. The producer said that he doesn’t like spending money to watch depressing films like Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati. Naga Vamsi said, “We are already fighting our own battles in life. Why should we get depressed again by watching sad films?”
He also noted that people go to theatres to get entertained and to watch things that can’t be done in real life. Naga Vamsi also said, “We made a realistic film like Jersey. It isn’t a depressing film. Hero’s son will be proud of what his father did, and he won’t feel sad at all. I produce the kind of films which I like to watch. It all depends on one’s perspective again.” A few netizens are on the same page as Naga Vamsi and are supporting his statement.
