A disappointed fan of Ram Charan wrote an open letter yesterday, expressing frustration over the promotional campaign of Peddi, and it quickly went viral. Responding to the fan, the Peddi team announced a non-stop promotional blitz titled the Peddi Powerplay Tour, aimed at amplifying the hype around the sports action drama.
Following the trailer launch event in Mumbai, the team will promote the film at Uppal Stadium, Hyderabad, on May 22 during the RCB vs SRH encounter. This will immediately be followed by a musical event in Bhopal on May 23. Press meets are also planned in Bengaluru (May 24), Delhi (May 28), and Chennai (May 30).
Two grand events will be held in Vizianagaram and Hyderabad on June 1 and June 2, respectively. The makers promised many more surprises for fans and said the film will stay in audiences’ hearts for a long time, calling it a storm that will shake everyone. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in this film directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
