Not many know that Aditi Rao Hydari started her career as a character artist in Hindi films. One of them was a small role in Ranbir Kapoor’s Rockstar, which was a big hit.
Well, speaking in an interview, Aditi says that her role was chopped off at the last minute, and what was left was just a cameo. The popular heroine says that as she was new, she could not say anything to the makers.
Rockstar was directed by Imtiaz Ali and had music by AR Rahman. Ranbir even won a National Award for the film, which was about a singer falling in love and facing heartbreak.
Aditi is now a popular star and was last seen in Heeramandi, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The series is now streaming on Netflix.
