After delivering three consecutive Rs. 100 crore grossers, Pradeep Ranganathan faced a setback with LIK: Love Insurance Kompany. Now, the multi-talented filmmaker is set to make a fresh start with a new project in a new avatar.
Having already established himself as an actor, writer, director, lyricist, and producer, Pradeep is now taking on the responsibility of producing a film under his newly launched banner, PR Show.
The film stars Mamitha Baiju (of Premalu and Dude fame) alongside director-turned-actor Ashwath Marimuthu in key roles. It also marks the big-screen debut of Anamika Mahi, while Telugu actor Sivaji Sontineni and talented actress Swasika play pivotal characters.
Interestingly, the film will be directed by a six-member filmmaking collective known as The Alpha Unit, comprising Vishal TR, Yash V, Naren Saoda, Chanakkiyan R, Dhanush Kumar, and Ilamparithi. Pradeep Ranganathan has penned the story, while Sai Abhyankkar has been roped in to compose the music.
The makers unveiled an intriguing announcement video, offering a glimpse into the film’s cast and crew. Pradeep E Ragav is handling the editing, while Dinesh Purushothaman is in charge of cinematography. More details about the shoot and the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
