Rajamouli opens up about his plans to make animation movies

Baahubali: Crown of Blood, the much-awaited animated series from the world of Baahubali, will be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from May 17. The man behind the Baahubali franchise, SS Rajamouli, and his producer Shobu, interacted with the media today as part of Baahubali: Crown of Blood’s promotions.

Speaking at the press meet, Rajamouli opened up about his plans to make animation movies in future. “It’s been on my mind for a very, very long time. As I keep making films and associate with people, I keep learning things which will enable me to venture into newer areas in my forthcoming films. Whether it’s Eega that I made, a small part of which was animated, or the people I interact with at Disney, it’s always to develop my skills to make an animation film,” said Rajamouli.

Rajamouli went on to say that the world of Baahubali will continue to expand in more exciting ways in future. The Legend of Hanuman creators Kang and Navin John directed Baahubali: Crown of Blood, with Rajamouli, Shobu Yarlagadda, and Devarajan bankrolling it.
