In a recent interview, Rana Daggubati shared some interesting details about Kalki 2898 AD, fronted by Prabhas. Rana revealed that he and Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin, have been friends since childhood. The Leader actor added that he would constantly be in touch with Nag Ashwin.
Rana said, “The next big moment is Kalki. Not just India and the Indian diaspora but everyone in the world will connect to Kalki. For a long time, I have been waiting for an Avengers moment from our side. That’s what has excited me to be part of it. Generally, big films are promoted at Comic-Con, and hence, we marketed Kalki 2898 AD there.”
When asked if he has acted in the film, Rana said, “No. I didn’t act in the film. As I was spotted at the promotional events, people thought I played a role in the movie.” Kalki 2898 AD also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in vital roles. The film releases on 27th June.
