Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy with his biggest film, Ramayana, which releases this Diwali. The movie also has a second part, which arrives next year. An exclusive report in Pinkvilla states that Ranbir will immediately start working on Brahmastra 2 after wrapping Ramayana 2.
It is said that Ayan Mukerji is currently busy with the scripting and pre-production. The second installment is reportedly set to commence production in April 2027. He is expected to portray both Dev and Shiva in the sequel, while Alia Bhatt will reprise her role as Isha.
It is also mentioned that the team is trying to rope in Deepika Padukone for the role of Amurta. Apart from the Ramayana films and Brahmastra 2, Ranbir also has Love and War and Animal Park in his lineup.
