The much-awaited sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, is hitting screens today with premiere shows planned across the globe. The film has been carrying strong buzz ever since its announcement, thanks to the success of the first part.
However, there seems to be a last-minute issue on the international side. As per reports, premiere shows in several North American locations could be delayed. The reason being that the second half of the film is yet to be delivered, with final changes still happening – similar to what happened during the release of Dhurandhar.
Even if the content arrives in time, theatres with electronic delivery systems may not face any problems. But for screens that depend on hard disks, delays are likely, which could affect the scheduled premieres.
In India though, things are on track, with shows set to begin from 5 PM today. The excitement around the film is quite high. With an A certificate and a runtime of close to 4 hours, it remains to be seen how the film holds the audience’s attention. Stay tuned for more updates.
