Director Vimal Krishna, who shot to fame with the hugely popular DJ Tillu, is back with another quirky entertainer, Anumana Pakshi. Rag Mayur plays the lead role, and the film is presented by Chilaka Productions and produced by Rajiv Chilaka, Rajesh Jagtiani and Hirachand Dand. Merin Philip plays the female lead, while the film is set to hit theatres on September 18th. The theatrical trailer was unveiled by Siddhu Jonnalagadda.

The trailer introduces Sunny, a man who finds it extremely difficult to take anything at face value. His constant overthinking makes him suspicious of even the most ordinary situations. Things take an interesting turn when he travels to Kashmir, where he meets a girl and falls in love with her. However, his romantic journey takes an unexpected turn when a police officer begins chasing him.

The mystery surrounding what happened in Kashmir and the reason behind the cop’s pursuit forms the central thread of the story. Vimal Krishna once again explores an offbeat premise, this time blending romance, comedy and mystery around a protagonist whose biggest strength and weakness is his tendency to overthink everything. The trailer promises plenty of quirky situations and humour while keeping the actual mystery under wraps.

Rag Mayur appears perfectly suited to the role of Sunny, bringing his trademark comic timing and expressions to the character. Merin Philip adds charm to the romantic portions and shares good chemistry with Rag Mayur. Ajay brings an interesting contrast to the proceedings with his serious demeanour, which also becomes a source of humour. Raasi, Prince Cecil, Anannayaa, Charith and Brahmaji are also seen in notable roles.

The technical aspects add further strength to the film. Sunil Kumar Nama’s cinematography beautifully captures the scenic landscapes of Kashmir, giving the trailer a visually appealing look. Sricharan Pakala’s music enhances the comic and entertaining mood of the narrative.

The production values of Chilaka Productions are impressive too. On the whole, the trailer of Anumana Pakshi promises a quirky blend of comedy, romance and mystery. With Vimal Krishna returning after DJ Tillu and Rag Mayur leading the cast, the film arrives with considerable expectations ahead of its September 18th theatrical release.
