The other day, reports stated that Kareena Kapoor walked out of Yash’s Toxic because she could not adjust her call sheets. Kareena was supposed to play Yash’s sister in this gangster drama. The combination of Yash and Kareena excited fans and audiences, but sadly, it isn’t happening now.
The latest update is that the makers have approached South Indian star heroine Nayanthara for the sister role. The word is that the makers have met the actress multiple times in the last few days and narrated the script. Nayanthara is said to have liked the plot and the sister character, and she is also keen on getting on board. Nayanthara will sign on the dotted line once all the aspects are figured out.
National Award-winning director Geetu Mohandas is wielding the megaphone for Toxic, which will feature Kiara Advani as the leading lady. The film comes with the tagline “Fairy tale for grown-ups.” The movie will open in cinemas on 10th April 2025.
