Kriti Sanon, who was last seen in Cocktail 2, will soon headline a large-scale horror film. The project will be backed by Maddock Films, and it marks her ninth collaboration with the production house.
According to an exclusive report in Variety India, the movie will see Kriti in a different avatar that allows her to explore a new performance space. In earlier interviews, the actress said that she isn’t fond of watching horror films, but she wants to explore the genre as it challenges her as an actor.
The pre-production work is said to be currently underway, and the report also mentions that the horror entertainer will be made on quite a large scale. Maddock Films is already backing a supernatural franchise, and, going by the report, this appears to be a standalone project.
