Starring Sumanth in the lead, Mahendragiri Varahi is a mythological thriller directed by Santhossh Jagarlapudi, marking their reunion after Subrahmanyapuram. The makers of Mahendragiri Varahi have officially announced that the film will hit theatres on September 11, 2026. The release date was unveiled during a press meet held on Monday.
Ahead of the announcement, the makers launched a unique promotional campaign during Varahi Gupta Navratri, installing Goddess Varahi idols in nearly 100 theatres across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The film also features Aishwarya Rajesh, Meenakshi Goswami, Malavika Nair, Vennela Kishore, Rajeev Kanakala, Brahmanandam, and Kamal Kamaraju in key roles. Anup Rubens composed the music, and the film is in the final stages of post-production. Mahendragiri Varahi is produced by Madhu Kalipu and Laxman under the banners Rajashyamala Entertainments and Bridge Films.
