Sundeep Kishan opens up about how he dealt with failures

It has been a while since Sundeep Kishan tasted success at box office. Although he was appreciated for his performance in Maanagaram, the film didn’t work commercially in Telugu, and all his recent films including C/O Surya, Manasuki Nachindhi, and also Next Enti, didn’t do well. However, the actor seems to have changed his mind with his upcoming projects.

Talking about how things changed for him in recent times, Sundeep said, “Actors are under a lot of scrutiny all the time, and everyone has something or the other to tell you when things aren’t going well for you. After I completed shooting for my films in late 2017, I decided to take a break and look closely at where I was going wrong. Sometimes, a lot of things are beyond your control, and you can already see that what you are shooting is not what you heard during the narration. So, I decided to travel and spend some time away from India. It was during this trip to Europe and US that I realised that my problems were really small compared to what others were going through.”

As soon as he came back, the actor signed a supernatural thriller, Ninnu Veedani Needanu Neene, and the shooting is almost complete. Directed by Caarthick Raju, the film stars newcomer Anya Singh. “We are going to break every stereotype associated with this genre. I am really eager to see how people are going to react to this. And going forward, all my films are going to be both content-oriented and entertaining at the same time,” he added.
