Tamil star Suriya met with a minor accident on the set of his highly-anticipated action-fantasy drama, Kanguva, in Chennai last night. Suriya reportedly sustained minor injuries when a rope struck his shoulder. Following this mishap, Suriya will be out of action for a few days.
Ever since the reports of Suriya getting injured began to go viral on social media, Suriya fans and well-wishers have been urging the actor to take a good care of himself. Anxious fans were also waiting for updates on Suriya’s injury. And the actor himself has ended their apprehensions by giving an update on his his health.
“Dear Friends, well wishers & my #Announcement thanks for the outpouring ‘get well soon’ msgs.. feeling much better.. always grateful for all your love (sic),” Suriya tweeted last night much to the relief of his fans.
Kanguva is being directed by Siruthai Siva and produced on Studio Green and UV Creations banners. The film is slated to open in cinemas on April 11 next year. In a never before feat in Indian Cinema, Kanguva will be releasing in as many as 38 Indian and foreign languages.
