Annapurna Studios is backing a small-budget film titled Pallaburusu, set against a rural backdrop. Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud play the lead roles, while Prajwal Yadma and Gomathy will be seen in key roles.
After unveiling a glimpse and first-look poster, the makers have now launched the teaser, and it promises a quirky ride. The promotional material suggests that the film primarily revolves around a father and son. The father keeps asking his son to buy him a toothbrush, but the son is stuck with his own financial troubles.
The dynamic between them provides ample scope for entertainment. There is also another subplot involving a barber and his romantic adventures. Pallaburusu will hit the big screens on August 14, 2026, during the Independence Day weekend.
Uday Chauhan is the writer and director. Aditya Pittie and Vivek Krishnani are co-producing the film under the Epic Studios banner. Pawan CH is composing the music.
