Kajal Aggarwal will next be seen in the intense social drama The India Story. Today, the makers unveiled the film’s teaser, which offers a glimpse into a plot that revolves around the harmful effects of pesticide farming on the public.
Shreyas Talpade’s daughter dies of cancer, and he approaches the court seeking justice. Kajal plays advocate Amrutha, who fights the case on his behalf. She argues that the cancer was caused by the consumption of food items containing excessive pesticides and further claims that the government is also responsible for the child’s death.
The film touches upon the toxic substances that can affect the health of many, and it remains to be seen how the concept is presented. Director Chettan DK stated that The India Story is not just a film, but a conversation that society needs to have. He added that he wanted to shed light on the alarming reality of pesticide farming and the silent health crisis it creates.
