Natural Star Nani’s new movie The Paradise is now in cinemas. The film has recorded the biggest opening of Nani’s career, with good occupancy for the premieres and day 1. Even the ticket sales for day 2 are also looking promising.
Trade had estimated that The Paradise could make around Rs. 80 crore gross worldwide on day 1, including the premieres. If that happens, it would be a huge opening for Nani and a major milestone in his career.
All eyes are now on the makers to release the official numbers. If the numbers are big, that could be a solid indicator of the growth in Nani’s stardom. The currently reported figure is around Rs. 75 crore gross for the film on day 1, including the premieres, and it remains to be seen what the makers’ official figure will be.
